Interactive historical event provides blast from the past

The Eastern Carolina Village and Farm Museum in Greenville will have its family fun day on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.  at 4570 County Home Road.

The day provides a blast from the past through the incorporation of a variety of demonstrations and exhibits featuring old-time crafts, food, music, games, vendors and tours. Twenty buildings will be available for visitation. The buildings contain thousands of artifacts from the small towns and farm life of those who lived between 1840 and 1940.
